Cuaght in a Whirlwind

It feels like time is moving faster now. I like it that way. It alows me to not have time to sit down and think. When the world is spinning past me, I will just try and keep up in the race. If I fall, I know I'll bruise, break down, and just stop. I've got to keep up, this whirlwind is spinning so fast around me, some times I wonder if I can ever break out to the other side where the wind is calm. Tests and trials, I don't know how I'll react when they finaly arrive. Or have they already begun? Will working two jobs be enough to help my mom? Can true friend ships really stand up to anything, or will they break and crumble before my feet? Just like everything else... like everything that is cuaght up in this whirlwind.

Poetry Reading Party (in progress)

So... a while back, some of my friends came over, and out of no where, one of my friend’s joking suggested we read poetry to each other. I was so excited; I ran in my room and grabbed some of my books. I came back, and they all looked surprised I took it seriously, but all the same, we sat in a circle in my living room, with only a couple lights on, and we started reading poetry. It was so much fun, and when the evening was over, before everyone left, they told me they had a great time and we should all get together again and do another poetry reading. I was thrilled, since then I have been really taking to heart that idea, and I am trying to plan another poetry reading, but this time it will be more like um... a Party. ^__^

I want to actually like plan it better this time, and there will be like events and stuff. Here are my ideas; this would be like the events itinerary. Lol!

4:00-5:30: Sewing party (anything from designing outfits, cosplay costumes, working on patterns, sewing, knitting, crafts, drawing, painting, ect.)

5:30-6:30- Tea with crumpets and pastries (photos, tea and crumpets provided)

6:30-7:00- Violin playing (instrumental music, socializing)

7:00-8:30- Poetry reading by the fire (main event, there will be tea provided, fire in fire place, and incense and candles, no electricity allowed for this event. )

9:00-10:00- If any one wants to stay, Echo group meeting (bible study)

Other Info: Please bring to the poetry reading either any writings of your own, or some of your favorite poems, short stories, or excerpts that you would like to share. Also if you like, please come dressed up in old-n-time clothing, or similar fashion, (the vintage style is coming back, so if you want to dress in the modern vintage style, that is encouraged too) there will be lots of photos taken. Also remember, this is a party where we are trying to bring back the romantic ways of the past, so let’s remember our manners, and work on our etiquette. Practicing etiquette is a lost art, which needs to be re polished in our society; a society in which these important values and beautiful simplicities in life have seemed to have been forgotten. The simplicities of a more romantic life style are what we are aiming for at this party. Hope you come!

So… haha, that’s kind of what I’m aiming for. I’m not sure when I’m going to plan it, I’m hoping for some time over Christmas Break. But when I figure out more, I will update you. Any way, please tell me what your views are about this, and if you think it’s a good idea. Thanks. ^__^

New Camera!!

I'm so excited!! I finally bought my own camera today. I have been wanting to buy a camera for a long time now, but have never gotten arouond to it till today. Its is a Samsung. It was about $99. :) I'm very happy with it. It takes wonderful pictures. ^^ LOL! for the longest time I was having to use my mom's camera. haha, and she really dosen't like me using it. Many times she even hid it from me, so I couldn't find it. There have been many tedious days of searching the house for that camera. haha.. -_- lol!! but now i can take pictures when ever i want. ^^ yay!! I'll take it to college and take some pictures there. There is some beautiful scenery over there. I'm excited. ^__^ I'll post them soon. I am also excited, because this weekend is Izumicon (an Anime Convention) I plan on takeing tons of pics there, and I will post them as soon as I get the chance. ^^ In the mean time, I thought I'd post some pictures of things around my house. I don't know what these are called, but they are pretty. ^^

The people who live behind us have this as their back yard, but I can see it from my backyard. :) Its a really pretty pond. ^^

I love drying roses, these were given to me by a good friend. And I got that picture in art class, and I absolutely love it. ^__^ This is from my room by the way. :)

This is my book shelf. I love it!! I put my more favorite books on the first shelf, and I also try to put like my old books on the top. You can kind of see a few of them. :)

He is holding me...

The young girl, trapped in an 18 year old body, sat motionless, head between knees on the edge of her bed. Small tremors escaped from her body as she sobbed; her eyes oozing out alligator tears. Why did this life have to be so hard? Why did following her dreams have to seem like it was impossible? She couldn’t understand, and it made her cry even harder all the same.
A deep soothing voice came to her and whispered, “My dear child, why are you weeping so?”
She looked up and a sorrowful angelic face was in front of her, it was her guardian angel. The angel’s eyes looked sad, and compassionate.
“My dear kind sweet angel. Thank you for visiting me in my time of need.” The girl spoke out loud. Her head rose from her knees, and her face was in a state of shock and worry.
The angels eyes sorrowful and drooping down looked at her. “Do not lose faith. Give all your anxiety over to your Father above. Let him.. hold you close..”
“hold me close,” she bowed her head once more to her knees. “hold me close…”
The angel nodded, then vanished.
“I can feel him.” She wrapped her arms around herself and sobbed quietly now. “he is holding me….”

A Present to say Thank You!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted a blog in a while. I've been trying to think of something awesome to post. ^^ I think I found a good idea. I will try and post it tomorrow. ^^ In the mean time, I just wanted to say thank you so much to all who are following my blog! I am so happy!! To show you my thanks, I want to draw each of you a drawing. :) I can only draw anime mainly though. lol So if you would like a drawing, please post on here, and tell me what you would like me to draw you. It could be like you, anime style doing something. Lol, or like a charcter you like. If you have a photo, I can draw it anime style. lol! I don't know if I'm making sense. :) but yeah, just let me know what you want me to draw. I kind of draw some realizim and still lifes. So if that is something you would really like me to draw, just let me know, and I'll let you know if I can draw it or not. Any way, I think thats it. I'll try and post that other blog tomorrow.
