Long hair, Clear skin!!

Wahhh sooo um... lately ive been a little obsessed with wanting to grow my hair long, and to get clear skin. haha!! XD Ive been looking up and reading about ways to achieve this. Im so excited!! Here are some things I've found out that I want to share with you. I hope it can help and benefit you as well. ^_^

For hair:
-Keep your hair healthy
-Keep hair hydrated( when its dry it has more chance of breakage)
-Masage your scelp in the shower to help stimulate the cells
-Take vitamins(Im using Biotin right now, so far I really like it)
-Excersise (surprisingly helps hair growth)
-Eat healthy
-Get hair trimmed acleast 3 times a year.(which reluctantly I will get my hair trimmed. lol)

For Skin:
-Most important, drink lots and lots of water(you should get in 8 cups a day. water helps remove so many toxins from your body)
-Get lots of sleep
-Eat healthy(foods with high antioxidant properties are great for clearing toxins in the body and skin)
-Drink green tea(has amazing heath benefits, as well great for your skin)
-Exersise often(it relieves stress in the body)
-Clean your face in the morning with cold water(cold water helps blood flow in your face also helps reduce dark circles under eyes)
-Clean face at night before bed with warm water(this helps open up the pores to remove more toxins and absorb mosturizer beter)
-Always use mosturizer after you wash your face with a cleanser.(oil-free mosturizer is best)
-Sleep on your back(weird i know, but it helps pervent premature ageing in the skin from the affects of gravity)

Those are just a few of tips I've learned on skin care. I hope those tips will help you out as well. ^_^ I might post more details on skin care and also a lot of fun other tips some time. ^_^ Best of luck!

Dream a Little Dream of Me

I think Im suffering post poetry party blues... :( I haven't been very motivated to do anything lately... I kind of blame it on the weather. lol This "big storm thats coming" is really giving me anxiety in a way. I can't help but worry about it. *sigh*

Im reading a very cute manga right now called Stolen Hearts. :) The couple in the manga are like exact opposits in their size. The guy is really tall, and the girl is short. Its so cute. They just compliment each other, but its not the couple you would normaly expect. I notice this a lot in life. People have ideas of who they want to date/marry, that perfect guy for them, but in a lot of cases the guy they end up dating and loveing is in fact not the initial guy they would have gone for. Its exciting in a way. I wonder what the guy thats meant for me will be like. Maybe he will be what I pictured, or maybe he will be completly unexpected. I'm so excited for when God brings us together. That will be a wonderful day. But for now I'm happy. I know hes out there, just haven't found him yet. :) Its comforting to know he is out there though, and not just a dream.

I watched a very sad wonderful movie with my mom tonight. It made me cry my eyes out, it was so sad. It was called The Lost Valentine. This was one of the songs from the movie. I just love it, and wanted to share it with you. ^_^ And for all the girls out there who haven't found that special guy yet, dont give up. Hes out there, and hes looking for you right now. Dont waste your time on guys who aren't the right one, you'll know when you find him. When you find that guy, you'll be so happy you waited and didn't give away any of your heart to some other guy, becuase the guy God has instore for you will be so wonderful, and you'll be in love. ^_^ Just imagine it, the best guy God has for you. ^_^ Its so comforting. Valentines Day is coming up fast. I think Im feeling more peaceful about it now, and less weary. haha. :) It will be a good day. ^_^ God Bless You.

The alliens frome Mars I call BOYS

Buuuh seriously!! Why are they so confusing??? Its like they speak in a different language. haha!! There are several boys that have really been confusing me latley. Some times I just want a straight up answer from them, or explanation for certain behaviors they have towards me. lol! Ugh... and Im really annoyed of boys texting me saying, "Hey", or "Hey girl" really?! 0.0 can you acleast think of something else to say to me? haha... any way... I've noticed on the radio that the majority of the contemporay music is all about partying. Its sad really... is that all so many people know in their life? Partying, getting drunk, sex? It breaks my heart. :(

This 365 days project has really been a challenge so far. I haven't gone to bed before 12 in so long I cant even remember. Lately I dont get to drawing until the very end of my day, so I stay up late to draw a drawing. lol! Its fun, but I need to get to bed earlier. This cant be healthy. X_X haha. Latley though I either get very frustrated with my art work, and relize I need to take more risks, but it makes me upset because Im not good at drawing other things. :( So I guess I really need to practice. One good thing though, I feel a lot looser in my drawings which is good. :)

Lately I have realized that I am sort of a negative person, and become to quick to get upset over silly things. I really want to work on being a more positive uplifting person, and not get so upset over things so easily. Thankyou Mattie and Meghan, you too have truly been an inspiration to me. I love you too so much! I love that we are all doing these blogs too. I have learned a lot through them that you too probably didn't know you have helped me with, so I wanted to say thankyou. ^_^

This morning my mom showed me on the news that in China, Christianity is really growing! My mom wanted to show me this to encourage me! It really lifted my spirits and it was even more of the calling on my heart to do mission work in China. Im so happy Christianity is growing there! Seeing that on the news was very encouraging to me. I want to pray harder about going to China, and also witnessing in general to people. :)

We must choose to get back up

So I watched Karate Kid for the first time yesterday, and I loved it! It really made me think about a lot of things and really inspired me as well.

Especialy that quote that Mr. Han says in the movie. ^_^ Some things I really want to work on is:

The first one, I want to be more respectful to my mom, and just people in authority in general. If my mom asks me to do something, I want to try harder to do what she asks when she asks it. I feel Im not as respectful as I should be some times. :(

Second, I want to work harder in all areas of my life, such as in school, drawing, bible studies, ect. In the movie, Mr. Han says, Kung Fu is in everything around us, and it lives in how we treat people. I loved that line, I really do want to live my life like that. In a more respectulf way, and I want to try and stop wasting so much time sitting around and not doing anything productive.

Third I really want to start working out again, and really start to push myself harder. Not to lose weight, but to be healthy. Its amazing what the human body is capable when it is strong and healthy. I would really love to see and experience this feeling in my life. Also I want to start eating healthier too. >< Mattie! thank you! You really have inspired me with the fast you are doing!

And lastly, that quote, thats at the top of this post. I really want to live this out in my life. Stuff and things in this life will bring us down, and will continue too. For a while, I didn't get back up when things were hard in my life. But I'm going to choose this time to get back up. and If I fall again, I'll keep on getting right back up. Spiritualy I really want to get closer to God. and I'll admit, Im frightened to. Im scared to grow closer to God, but I want to face this fear, because God will take care of everything. ^-^

The sun was rising over the horizon and winters grip was beggining to fade. She could see Spring, it was in view! Just over that glorious horizon.

The Best Part About Winter

So I just had a "lightbulb moment" I relized what my favorite part about winter is. =D My favorite part is, it makes you appreciate the Spring! Perhaps thats why so many people say... Spring is their favorite season! They had to go through the harsh brutal winter to reach the beautiful spring. That perfect time of year when the temperture is just right. When the world comes back to life with fresh green leaves flowers and grass. Warmth is in the air, evrything feels fully alive again, and we soon forget the cold winters grip. If there was not winter, would we appreciate the Spring as much as we do?

Perhaps this is an analogy of life? Maybe we need to look at the hard times in our life and realize... that by going through these hard times, once we finaly reach the Spring, we will be able to appreciate those good times so much more than we ever could if they were just handed to us. The good times will be filled with more joy than we can ever imagine now. I truly believe those good times will be worth going through the harsh winter. Everyones winter wont be the same length though. Some people will have a lot longer and colder winters to face than others... but you know what? There is even beauty, that can be found in winter. So for now, I'll look for the beauty in my winter. And I'll know that my Spring will come. Winter cannot last forever. Spring will come. ^_^
